About Me...
ne might say I was born with a hammer in my hand. One of the earliest accounts of my handy work was when I was a toddler. My mom walked into our kitchen, only to find that I had removed all of the screws from our kitchen cabinets. As my father was gone on a business trip, my mother had little options and told me to screw all the doors back on.
As I got older my skill set grew and I learned not only take things apart, but how to put things together! Through high school, college and beyond, I continued working on many projects and expanding my scope of work.
My mischievousness continued with my father stumbling upon a row of screws lined neatly up along the top of our garden fence. My dad, perplexed, opened the garden gate only to have the gate fall to the ground.
Although I graduated from Humboldt State University and became a career firefighter, my passion for carpentry and construction never dwindled. Today, I find myself receiving many requests for home repairs and construction, and with my flexible schedule as a firefighter, I enjoy taking on several side jobs. Eventually, this led to the formation of Fine Home Carpentry and Repair.
